Fundraising with Nicholas and Michel

June 10th, 2010

Two young men, Nicholas and Michel, graduating from grade 8 this month, were given a task for a school project.  They decided to do some fundraising  to help in their community.  A great choice they made.  We got together June 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and raised $350.  Great fun was had by all since the guys did such an awesome job planning, sending out invitations and looking after their guests during the event.  There was even a pink chocolate fountain that everyone enjoyed!

Nicholas and Michel you certainly did good and look good with Highlights for Hope!  You also helped directly because the money was used to help pay for a limousine to bring Rita, a special friend, and her family to Toronto and return to Sudbury.
